In addition to individual events that occur throughout the semester, Honors Programming hosts a number of event series that address general topics or activities. Many of these programs are provided in conjunction with other offices on campus.
Honors and the Arts
Events focused on the arts (visual, dramatic, cinematic, musical, etc). Many of these include RSVPs, so be sure to plan ahead.
Get to know fellow students and professors through engaging conversations. Find out more about their research and interests over lunch.
Get to know UConn’s best professors outside of the classroom. What if a great professor were asked to give their last lecture? What would they say?
Honors Education Abroad Series
Programs and events focused on all aspects of the education abroad process, including programs for Honors credit. (A collaboration between the Honors Program and the Office of Global Affairs.)
College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) Career Panel Series
Brings a small group of students together with alumni for an informal career discussion. (Also counts toward the Certificate of Professional Development, available for CLAS students.)
Events designed to support your Honors thesis progress and graduation as an Honors Scholar.
Next Generation STEM Skills (“Next Gen Skills”)
