Brittany Engert is a Program Assistant in the UConn Honors Programming and Events Office. As a member of the team, Brittany works to support the co-curricular learning and development of UConn students. She also advises Honors Initiative for Prospective Students (HIPS), Honors Council (HC), and Humanities and Arts Collective (HArCo). Brittany is particularly interested in helping students realize their full potential through the recognition of their own strengths. Additionally, she serves as a UConn Connects mentor.
Originally from New York, Brittany has earned a Bachelors in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta before moving to Willimantic, Connecticut. Currently, she is working to earn her Masters in Counseling from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania so she may better support students. Brittany enjoys baking, gaming, traveling to new places, and taking her dog, Roz, on walks and hikes.
