Elizabeth Zyzo graduated from Pomperaug High School in her hometown of Southbury, Connecticut. She has a double major in Communication Disorders and Psychology, with an interest in speech pathology. Elizabeth has participated in several of UCHC’s Health Career Opportunities Programs, including the Pre-College Enrichment Program, where she researched Alzheimer’s disease and its association with certain inherited genes, and the Health Disparities Clinical Summer Research Fellowship Program, in which she conducted clinical research in the Hartford community. Elizabeth is an avid field hockey and basketball player and has a Jack Russell Terrier named Gypsy.
