The Honors Student Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Specialists are student employees in the Honors Program at UConn. As a team, they develop programming and initiatives with the goal of creating a more inclusive and equitable Honors Community. The Honors DEI Specialists host events, facilitate training and other programming, and provide a space of support for students to share their experiences. Additionally, they welcome opportunities to collaborate with student organizations and university partners to support and promote programming efforts already in place around campus.
Meet the Honors Student Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist Team

Bailey (she/her/hers) is a sophomore majoring in Psychology. She was born in Michigan but is from Massachusetts. She loves being creative and any form of content creation such as photography/videography, as well as dabbling in fashion and modeling. Bailey enjoys trying new things, being outside, taking pictures and is a foodie. Bailey hopes to hold successful trainings and conversations that create safe spaces for students of diverse backgrounds, and transformative internal learning experiences.
