Ali Bergmark
Graduate Assistant, STEM Scholars Program
Ms. Ali Bergmark is a Graduate Assistant for the Honors and Enrichment Programs, specifically working with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) students. In this role, Ali organizes weekly communications to STEM Scholars, collaborates with the Honors and Enrichment team to support students in their personal and professional development, collects and analyzes data from student surveys, supports STEM student groups, and offers social and emotional advising to STEM Scholars.
During her undergraduate degree, Ali worked extensively on Cognitive Neuroscience and Human Factors Engineering projects. The majority of her work involved interdisciplinary communication and support. Through these roles, she gained a deep passion for the active maintenance of STEM student mental and physical well-being. Her knowledge of peer-to-peer aid has provided her with the ability to give encouraging and direct support to students. She is currently working on a Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Connecticut.
