Kaitlin Heenehan

Assistant Director for UConn Honors Stamford

Kaitlin Heenehan (she/her/hers) is the Honors Program Assistant Director for UConn Stamford. She oversees academic and co-curricular student services including Honors advising and curricular offerings, co-curricular programs, and student life for Honors at UConn Stamford.

In this role she collaborates with faculty, staff, and students to support student development and provide opportunities for engagement and enrichment. She advises the Honors students who are in the Academic Center for Exploratory Students (ACES) at UConn Stamford and serves as secondary advisor to all Honors students at Stamford. She is also the liaison for all Enrichment Programs at UConn Stamford.

Kaitlin received a B.S. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from UConn and a M.A.Ed. in Higher Education from Virginia Tech.

She is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive Honors community, which includes access to Enrichment Programs for students on all UConn campuses.
