Sierra Trudel

Graduate Assistant, Honors and Enrichment Programs


Ms. Sierra Trudel is a Graduate Assistant for the Honors and Enrichment Programs, specifically working with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) students. In this role, Sierra organizes weekly communications to STEM Scholars, collaborates with the Honors and Enrichment team to support students in their personal and professional development, collects and analyzes data from student surveys, supports STEM student groups, and offers social and emotional advising to STEM Scholars.

Sierra is a passionate motivator who inspires both students and adults alike with her positive psychology and strengths-based framework. As a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who holds a Master’s of Science and Sixth Year Certificate in School Psychology with a specialization in Child Clinical Counseling from the University of Hartford, Sierra brings a strong skillset to inspire educators and students to reach their full potential. Sierra has worked with several school districts in Connecticut to foster self-leadership in teachers and to help students from kindergarten through high school develop grit, conscientiousness, growth mindset, and self-regulation skills. Through fostering this positive mindset, students take control of their future and soar. Sierra has received numerous awards for her dedication and contributions to school psychology and work with students. Sierra is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
