Hilary Sullivan has created an individualized major entitled ‘Health, Culture, and Society’ and is very interested in studying the anthropological and sociological influences on health care. A graduate of Daniel Hand High School, Hilary is from Madison, Connecticut. She has volunteered at Yale-New Haven’s Smilow Cancer Hospital where she has been inspired by the patients she’s met to pursue a career in health care. Because of her experience shadowing a pediatrician, Hilary is thinking about studying pediatrics. A huge fan of the German National Soccer Team, Hilary hopes to travel to Europe one day to watch them play.
