    UConn Rescue: Stop the Bleed Class

    Stop the Bleed (STB) classes teach participants how to quickly and effectively control severe bleeding in emergencies. The purpose of these classes is to prepare bystanders to act before professional help arrives by learning life-saving skills such as applying direct pressure, packing wounds, and using tourniquets to prevent fatal blood loss.
