Prepare for your Honors advising and registration by completing the following AT LEAST ONE WEEK PRIOR TO YOUR ON-CAMPUS ORIENTATION SESSION:
- Watch this video about Orientation registration and support, which was not part of your Orientation sign-up process: Honors – Registration
- Gather information on any credits you may have earned through AP, ECE, or other transfer sources, even if you are not planning on using them.
- AP: Scores from any classes taken in prior years.
- ECE: Official UConn grades from Student Administration.
- Transfer courses: UConn equivalent courses, when available.
- No worries if you aren’t bringing in credit, there is plenty of time!
- Complete the required Honors INTERACTIVE ADVISING WORKSHEET . Your advisor will need this information to help guide you through your course selection for your first semester.
- You will need to log in with your NetID to access this form; if you need help, visit the NetID page or contact UConn ITS. Remember your login info because you’ll be using it to log into StudentAdmin during your registration session!
- This worksheet is in addition to any other pre-advising form that may be required by your School or College.
- Review your school/college requirements and complete any necessary placement exams.
- Check for any holds that may prevent registration, such as your SF Responsibility Agreement.
- Review Honors course descriptions for fall 2024; make note of one or more that interests you and/or fulfills a requirement you need. Think about other courses on your “wish list” that you may want to take this fall.
- Review the UNIV 1784 course description for fall 2024; practice adding this course to your shopping cart (Adding to your cart is not enrolling in the course; we will finalize your enrollment during Orientation).
We look forward to working with you!
