Please note we are working on preparing for you and your Orientation session. Please check back in mid-May for updates to these pages as we prepare for Orientation 2025.

At Orientation, here’s how we’ll help you stay whelmed:

  • Get oriented to UConn with your fellow Huskies and fellow Honors Huskies; learn more about planning for your fall 2025 schedule (Day 1)
  • Honors Registration (Day 2)
    • An Honors Orientation advisor will help you register for Fall 2025 classes, taking into account your interests and any credits you may be bringing in. Be sure to:
      • Complete your Interactive Advising Worksheet prior to Orientation (check back closer to your Orientation session!)
      • Review your IAW & the info you receive on Day 1
    • Honors is a layer to general education/major requirements (not a requirement on top of)
      • Recommended Course Load: 12-16 credits total for fall semester
      • Within those 12-16 credits, UNIV 1784 Honors First-year Seminar, plus 1 or 2 Honors courses

Prepare for your Orientation session with this detailed checklist (Before Orientation tab)!

Review the Honors videos you watched before you signed up for Orientation:

Beyond Orientation, remember there are lots of folks in Honors who can help you stay whelmed:
