Updates: I am finishing Family Medicine Residency at Tufts Family Medicine Residency at Cambridge Health Alliance. After I finish residency this year, I will be moving back to CT to begin working as a PCP this coming Fall! I have been serving as Resident Director for MassAFP, and Mentor for Primary Care Progress chapters. I enjoy leadership, full spectrum reproductive health, medical education, and spending time with my family and adorable nieces and nephew.

Devorah Donnell attended Manchester High School, where she was valedictorian of her class. Devorah is a member of the Combined Program in Medicine and founder of UConn’s Pre-Medical Club.

Through the UConn Medical School’s Summer Research Fellowship Program, I conducted stem cell research in the summer of 2007 in Dr. Lalande’s laboratory in the department of Genetics and Developmental Biology at the UConn Health Center. I studied a cause of Angelmans syndrome, a form of mental retardation, in terms of Ubiquitin Protein Ligase 3A (UBE3A) expression’s impact on resistance to genotoxic stressors. Continue reading
