Checklist for Admitted Honors First Years
You are about to begin an amazing journey and we are thrilled that you have chosen to take it with us! Each year a new group of first-year students joins the Honors family and makes UConn a home away from home. The following items will help you to get off to a good start in your next chapter of your life.
Husky-for-a-Day Dates: Students admitted to the Honors Program are encouraged to visit on the denoted days and are invited to attend a reception hosted by the Honors Program at the end of the program.

Honors First Year Reply Form: Available March 15th and Due May 1, 2018
Secure your space in the Honors Program. Let us know about your decision to attend UConn in Honors by completing this form by May 1, 2018.
Sign up for New Student Orientation: Details will be sent via email beginning in mid-April after your enrollment deposit is received.
Housing Application Part 1: May 19, 2018 (Click here for more information.)
First-year students attending the Storrs campus who wish to live on campus must complete all portions of the housing application by the deadlines listed on the Residential Life web page: Storrs New Student Central.
Housing Roommate Requests: June 1 through July 13, 2018 (Click here for more information.)
You may request a roommate for housing through the online “MyHousing” system. Information is available at Storrs New Student Central.
UConn Honors First Summer: Registration deadline June 15, 2018. Get a strong start at UConn by applying to join the UConn First Summer program, which includes options to complete Honors Core and general education courses.
Health History Form: Due July 1, 2018
Submit your Health History Form by July 1, including proof of mandatory immunizations.
Add/Drop/Swap: July 19, 2018
Contact your advisor with questions about your schedule and make any necessary adjustments to your schedule through the Student Administration System.
Housing Application Part 2: Due August 1 (Click here for more information.)
Complete part 2 of the housing application according to Storrs New Student Central, including the Sharing Spaces module, after attending Orientation. You will be notified by Residential Life via email/text when the application is available.
