Checklists for Admitted Honors First-Years
You are about to begin an amazing journey and we are thrilled that you have chosen to take it with us! The following items will help you to get off to a good start in your next chapter of your life.
UConn Bound Honors: Join us for a variety of options where you will engage with our Honors staff and current students. Dates and details are available here and in your UConn applicant portal, where you will register.
Enrollment Fee: Due May 1st
To confirm your enrollment, you must pay the enrollment fee to UConn. Visit Admissions for details and instructions.
Honors First-Year Reply Form: Due May 1st
Secure your space in the Honors Program. Let us know about your decision to attend UConn in the Honors Program by completing this form by the deadline. Contact us with questions.
Sign up for New Student Orientation: You will receive an email with details after your enrollment fee is received. As an Honors student, the Orientation program will be designed to get you ready for entering your school or college and the Honors Program.
Housing Application:
Part 1: After Enrollment Fee is Paid – you will receive an email with information about applying for housing. First-year students are strongly encouraged to complete Part 1 by May 15th.
Part 2: During/After Orientation
First-year students attending UConn Storrs who will live on campus must complete all portions of the housing application according to the Residential Life web page: Storrs New Students.
Housing Roommate Requests:
You may request a roommate during the summer through the online “My Housing” system. Information is available at Storrs New Students.
Health History Form: Due July 1st
Submit your Health History Form by July 1, including proof of mandatory immunizations.
Add/Drop/Swap: Begins July 25th
Contact your advisor with questions about your schedule and make any necessary adjustments to your schedule through the Student Administration System.
First-year Move-In Day: TBD
First day of fall classes: Monday August 28th

Housing Application:
First-year students attending UConn Stamford who would like to live on campus must complete all portions of the housing application according to Residential Life.
Note: If you would like to live on campus, please submit the Housing Application for consideration; it is not required to submit your Enrollment Fee to UConn Stamford before applying for housing so submit your Housing Application ASAP and by the priority deadline of April 1. Honors first-year students who live on campus are placed in the Honors First-Year Residential Community, which is on the 2nd floor of 900 Washington at UConn Stamford.
