Honors Ambassadors

The Honors Ambassadors are eager to share how they explore, create, and lead through the Honors experience at UConn. They are here to help you get to know more about the UConn Honors Program and share stories about their unique experiences as Honors Huskies.

Honors Ambassadors assist at several Honors events throughout the academic year. If you’re attending an Honors session at an open house ("Fall Campus Visit Day" or "UConn Bound Day") or another event, such as an Honors Meet & Greet, you’ll have an opportunity to speak with Honors students during your visit. Honors Ambassadors are happy to learn about your interests and answer your questions about academic and co-curricular experiences, campus involvements, and the Honors community. They will help you to envision how UConn Honors can be where you will grow into a future leader.

Honors Meet & Greets

Join Us for an Honors Meet & Greet

We hope that you attend UConn’s Husky-for-a-Day Program on the Storrs campus as a prospective student where you will shadow a current UConn student and get a closer look at UConn life. Each spring at the end of specific Husky-for-a-Day visit dates, we invite you to join the Honors Ambassadors and staff at an Honors Meet & Greet. Learn more about the Honors Program at these student-led gatherings where you will hear the stories of current Honors Huskies and there will be plenty of time to ask your individual questions.
