Timeline for Graduation

If you are planning to graduate in less than four years or more than four years, please email honors@uconn.edu to let us know. The Honors offices uses the year you entered UConn to determine when you will graduate and when to send out important reminders for forms and deadlines.
Follow your Honors Preliminary Plan of Study that you submitted through Quest (Honors Plan) as a junior. You will update that plan to submit as your Honors Final Plan by the end of your next to last semester as one of the steps outlined in the Honors timeline for graduation.
Connect with your departmental Honors advisor about any changes to your Honors Plan and discuss department-specific Honors requirements.
Communicate with your departmental Honors advisor about your plan and completion of your Engagement in the Major Field
Stay in touch with your Honors advisor and thesis supervisor as you work to complete your Honors thesis/project.
Review your transcript to be sure “Honors credit” has been added for all courses taken for Honors credit (Honors graded or conversion).
Review HuskyCTfor badges awarded for UHL Co-curricular requirements.

December 5, 2025	Honors Thesis DUE: submitted and approved in Quest
December 5, 2025	Submit Thesis to Digital Commons – highly recommended and may choose to submit at a later date

January 9, 2026	Honors requirements must be submitted/approved/posted by 12PM Noon; FINAL DEGREE DEADLINE/Degree Date Close Out – Completion after this date will result in a delayed degree. Contact honors@uconn.edu with any questions.
